THE MEETING

INT. BOARDROOM - DAY

Just over a dozen EXECUTIVES sit in plush chairs around a gigantic table.  They take notes and listen to a presentation at the front by the BOSS.

The glass doors at the front open and two CATERERS enter with trays of food.  They begin setting up.

All of the executives become distracted and start watching them.

BOSS

Excuse me?

CATERER ONE

Yes sir?

BOSS

What are you doing?

CATERER ONE

Setting up for the meeting.

BOSS

This meeting doesn't have any food.

EXECUTIVE ONE

Although it wouldn't hurt.

Chuckles from a few.

BOSS

This is a closed meeting and we didn't order food.  Seriously, get out.

CATERER TWO

We were told to...

BOSS

I don't care, get out!

The caterers take the food and leave quickly.

EXECUTIVE ONE

That was fast food.

Chuckles from a few.

BOSS

You're fired.

EXECUTIVE ONE

What?

BOSS

Get out, you're fired.

Executive One looks around confused.  No one looks him in the eye.

He picks up his things and leaves in a huff.

BOSS

No one eats until I say so.
